Bifunkal is a two-piece band based in Chicago that believes in live looping, vocal bass, and the power of
rock.
Bifunkal is Hershyl Edwards (drums, vocal bass, loops, vox) and Jesse Crydeman (guitar, loops, vox). Hershyl is a unique bird, in that he sings the bass lines (into an octave pedal) while playing drums. Sometimes he even loops the vocal bass, and then sings--all while playing drums.
